St Finian’s College offers many facilities to our students.
We have just completed our new building project. We have a new Science & Technology Fore Building with state of the art facilities. There are 4 Technology rooms with prep rooms, 4 Science Labs with prep rooms, a Design & Communication Graphics Room, a Technical Graphics room and the SEN dept rooms.
We have completely refurbished our gym and our changing rooms. There is a new fitness suite / gym. There is a 5G Astro turf pitch and a GAA pitch at the rear of the college. There are 6 outdoor basketball courts and 4 Handball walls on the school grounds. There is a cricket pitch, 2 tennis courts and 6 further outdoor courts to the front of the school.
The Clonard building has 13 new classrooms including two Art rooms. These are fully fitted to the Dept of Education specification including a Kiln for clay work.
In our temporary accommodation there are 2 Home Economics rooms. These are fully fitted to the Dept of Education specification. The refurbished main building will house the permanent Home Economics kitchens.
Our church and oratory have been completely restored.
Our music centre caters for our music students with 2 classrooms, and 8 practice rooms.
We also have our Slí na Sláinte for those who would like to take a short walk during lunchtime!
